We are a Czech and English speaking barbershop established in 2019 and located in Vršovice, Prague 10. We have two stations which offer traditional men's haircuts, standard beard care, and hot towel shaves. We also offer our clients a fine selection of Canadian and international whisky, as well as other hot and cold beverages. In addition, we offer hair and beard care products and an assortment of sweet merch, including branded t-shirts, Snap Backs and more.
Come see what we’re all about, eh!
Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario to Czech parents, Eric moved to Prague in 2012 and kick started his career in barbering in 2017 as an apprentice to Kraig Casebier. He has since applied his trade in the UK and Canada, and made his dream come true in 2019 by establishing The Canadian Barbershop.
Eric enjoys listening to a wide range of music, including Oldies, Rockabilly, Grunge, and Folk. He spent 14 years playing classical violin, and played drums in an Ottawa based band during his college years. He is also a loving husband and proud father to two beautiful children.
Radim is the newest addition to the team, joining us in August 2020. He was born in Prague but moved to Příbram at the age of 7, a small town located in Central Bohemia.
After high school, he moved to the UK with the ambition of becoming a barber and to better his English. His plan to stay 6 months turned into 6 years!
Radim enjoys travelling and all kinds of sports. In his spare time he likes reading, investing, and keeping active. He also recently took up learning Spanish and Russian, and has started running to keep fit.
Colby was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. After having finished barber school in Alberta he moved to the Pacific coast and lived in Vancouver for seven years. He has been barbering since 2015.
Colby is a passionate barber who specializes in classic hair styles with a modern twist. When he is not behind the barber chair he loves a good beer, listening to live punk rock music and he loves to travel and meet new people.
